I have purposely provided the tournament with quite big prize money for the Indonesian
players, so through the media they could learn how to organize all the aspects that are
part of their career advancement , starting from the tournament schedule to managing the
earnings. I believe this is very important for them. It’s not all about being the champion,
because it becomes worthless if the player cannot manage his earnings and choose the
schedule which fits their capability,” Ria Prawiro.

has stood as an abiding value in her vision and
mission as an individual who is concerned about
the sport she passionately loves. Though, not all
of her dreams have been accomplished yet.
Apart from her visions, she realizes that a
development in any fields will not be easily
accomplished without hard working , as she
always expresses in an interview or chit chat with
anybody. And to her, the hard work cannot be
effortlessly realized without a real self-sufficiency.
The mindset is always imparted to anyone who
is involved in her activities , included her staff at
Kariza and her sponsored professional golfers.

“Nothing is eternal in this world. The staff and
the pros who are now under my management
will not be with me forever. That is why I have
been untiringly encouraging them to be
independent, so when the time comes that they
have to be on their own without my guidance,
they will be confident to journey on a good life
they’re deserved,” said Ria Prawiro.
The development of Indonesian professional
golfer definitely depends on the enthusiasts
in the industry. As we know, the achievement
of a professional player is about the individual
management which cannot be interfered
entirely by an interrelated association or official
sanctioning body.
This is the objective that has been Ria Prawiro’s
attention with regard to the professional golf
activities she has been doing during the last
two years.
